Ingredients

  • 4 salmon steaks about 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or fresh, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Equipment

  • Air Fryer – for perfectly cooked salmon with a crispy outside
  • Tongs – for flipping salmon easily
  • Mixing Bowl – to prepare marinade or seasoning

Method

  1. Prepare Salmon – Pat the salmon steaks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season – In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon steaks.
  3. Preheat Air Fryer – Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Cook Salmon – Place salmon steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest & Serve – Remove from air fryer and let rest for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges before serving.
