  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 scallions finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Toppings & Buns:
  • 4 burger buns or lettuce wraps
  • 1/2 cup cucumber slices
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 4 tbsp sriracha mayo optional
  • Fresh cilantro leaves optional

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl – for combining turkey and seasonings
  • 1 Skillet or Grill Pan – for cooking the burgers
  • 1 Spatula For flipping burgers
  • 1 Meat Thermometer – to check doneness (165°F / 74°C)

Method

  1. Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, ginger, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, panko, egg, and pepper. Gently mix until just combined—do not overmix.
  2. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties. Place on a plate and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
