  • 4 cups Cheez-Its about 1 standard box
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional for extra heat
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine Cheez-Its, olive oil (or melted butter), chili powder, cayenne, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the Cheez-Its in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway, until the Cheez-Its are crispy and the spices are fragrant.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
