- Cook Creamettes macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Combine cooked pasta with cheese sauce and mix well.
- Serve immediately for stovetop style, or transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes until golden.
