Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp dried nettle leaf
  • 2 tbsp dried oatstraw
  • 2 tbsp dried raspberry leaf
  • 1 tbsp dried alfalfa
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • Honey or lemon optional, for serving

  • 1 Tea Strainer or Muslin Bag – to strain herbs
  • 1 Glass Jar with Lid – for steeping and storing

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.
  2. Place nettle, oatstraw, raspberry leaf, and alfalfa into a tea strainer, muslin bag, or directly into a jar.
  3. Pour the boiling water over the herbs.
  4. Cover and let steep for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for maximum nutrition).
  5. Strain the herbs and pour the tea into cups or a storage jar.
  6. Sweeten with honey or add lemon if desired.
  7. Enjoy warm, or refrigerate and serve chilled over ice.
