- Layer pecans evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the pecans—do not stir.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake mix.
- Pour melted butter evenly over the top, covering as much as possible.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon (if using) for extra flavor.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving to allow the layers to set.
- Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
