- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato sauce and tomato paste, mixing until smooth.
- Add oregano, basil, paprika, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour in water to adjust thickness, then stir well.
- Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before using on pizza.
