- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add beef and sausage, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in pasta sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, and half the Parmesan. Mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta, sauce, mozzarella. Repeat until finished, ending with mozzarella + Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil, bake 40 minutes. Remove foil, bake 15–20 minutes more until golden and bubbly.
- Rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
